"I can't keep up with Xiong'an!"
Participating in the Xiong'an Marathon for the fifth time, Duan Xijun's pace is even lighter - this time he served as the pacemaker of the half marathon event, and with the cooperation of 4 pacemakers in the same stage, he successfully completed the relevant tasks of the event.
Held for the first time in 2017, the "Male Horse" is a landmark event that accompanies the growth of Xiong'an New Area, and records and witnesses the construction and development of Xiong'an New Area every year.
"In 2019, I was the pacemaker for the 5-hour marathon of the 'Male Horse' event, and I am very happy and honored to participate in the work and to run. Duan Xijun said.
42-year-old Duan Xijun has been running since junior high school, and in 2017, because of the Xiong'an Marathon, he began to systematically participate in the study and training of long-distance running.
Recalling the first "male horse" trip, Duan Xijun told reporters: "In the past, there were not many local people participating in running in Xiong'an, and I was probably the only participant from the medical system at that time. It was my first marathon and I was very excited and I felt a sense of accomplishment to finish the race. ”
"Xiongma" insists on creating a "different track every year", and strives to make the track pass through the construction site, integrate into the new city style, and connect fireworks and people's feelings, so that the charm of the city marathon and the characteristics of Xiong'an converge and integrate.
Duan Xijun said: "I originally wanted to use my mobile phone lens to record Xiong'an in my daily running, but everywhere is building rapidly, the changes are too fast, and my pace can't keep up with Xiong'an!"
Feel the vitality of Xiong'an on the track
On the track of the "male horse", the "Liberation Running Group" was particularly eye-catching, and there were runners holding various colored flags at the end of their team. The members of the running group include teachers from Beijing colleges and universities, and staff of central enterprises settled in Xiong'an, who are witnesses of Xiong'an's "jointing growth" and a new force for the future development of Xiong'an.
"Over the years, I can personally feel the great changes in Xiong'an, and a 'city of the future' has begun to emerge. Tang Ruotian, a member of China's Sinochem Running Group, told reporters that during the "Xiongma" race, he and his teammates set off from the Xiong'an City Computing Center, crossed the starting area, passed through the "three schools and one hospital", and felt the unique charm of Xiong'an landmarks at close range.

Li Pengsong, a member of the "Xiong'an Science Park New Quality Productivity" running group and associate professor of Beijing Forestry University, is a senior marathon enthusiast, this time he enjoyed the joy of the half marathon with a relaxed mind, and finally finished the race with a time of 2 hours, 01 minutes and 29 seconds.

On the field, the marathon runners ran hard, and on the sidelines, the cheerleaders cheered enthusiastically. When the runners were about to run through the "15-minute life circle" area of Rongdong District, Cai Baoying, a social worker of Rongdong Community, held a flag and waited here early. "My hometown is in Hebei, and I am full of feelings for this land, and I hope that after graduation, I can come to build Xiong'an and contribute to the development of my hometown. Chen Zhuoxin, a student at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, said.
Since the establishment of Xiong'an New Area, the door here has always been open to talents from all over the world. On the day before the official start of the "Xiongma", the new district also invited more than 300 college students to visit the landmark buildings of Xiong'an and learn about the talent policy.
