On April 15, Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei's terminal business, announced the upgraded version of Huawei's P series - "Huawei Pura". Subsequently, Huawei Mobile's official WeChat public platform officially released a new product series, the Huawei Pura 70 series.
Although the original name of this series of products has been changed from the original Huawei P series to the Pura series, the original serial number naming rules have been maintained, indicating that follow-up products such as Pura 80 and Pura 90 will continue to be launched in the future.
Although the promotional video does not directly reveal the detailed specifications of the new model, the repeated triangle symbol confirms previous rumors in the market that the new phone will feature a triangular rear camera combination.
This design also marks the high recognition of the Huawei Pura 70 series in the industry, allowing consumers to easily identify the Huawei Pura 70 series products from its unique back design.
According to the leaked information, the Pura 70 series will consist of four different models, continuing the previous naming pattern: Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+, and Pura 70 Ultra.
It's worth noting that the top-of-the-line version, which was originally named Art, has been replaced by the Ultra, marking the first time Huawei has adopted the Ultra name on its top-of-the-line flagship. This is expected to mean significant improvements in configuration and user experience.
For the first time, Huawei uses a one-inch Sony IMX989 sensor in the rear main camera of its new mobile phone, marking a major breakthrough in Huawei's mobile phone imaging technology, and the device has become Huawei's model with the largest bottom area sensor.
According to internal sources, the position of this series in Huawei's product line has surpassed the previous Mate series, and it has undertaken the mission of restoring Huawei's leading position in the high-end imaging market. Huawei's slogan "Pursue the Original, Forge Ahead" demonstrates Huawei's firm determination and driving force in the pursuit of excellence in imaging technology.
