The reporter learned from the Construction and Transportation Commission of the New District that there are 41 parking garages and 7 road parking lots in Pudong New Area that can apply for off-peak sharing services online through mobile phones, and the number of off-peak shared parking spaces has reached 1,657.
In order to alleviate the parking difficulties and maximize the revitalization of existing parking resources, in recent years, Pudong New Area has actively promoted the off-peak sharing of parking spaces, and continuously expanded the radiation scope of "off-peak sharing" of parking resources. At present, the online signing of off-peak sharing products has covered 41 public parking garages in Pudong New Area, with 1,398 shared parking spaces.
At the same time, in order to further alleviate the parking difficulties of residents in residential communities and meet the "rigid needs" of residents in the community for parking on weekday nights, Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays, Pudong New Area has piloted the "monthly settlement" function of open road parking staggered peak sharing, that is, the vehicles of residents in residential communities are parked in the designated smart road parking lot near the community and the parking period allowed to be standardized, and the parking period that belongs to the night, Saturday, Sunday and statutory holidays will be charged and paid on a monthly basis.
There are 7 road parking lots with 259 parking spaces in Pudong New Area.
Citizens and friends can sign contracts and pay online through the "Shanghai Parking" APP (WeChat applet), which is convenient and fast.
Open the "Shanghai Parking" APP, and the "Peak Staggered Sharing" function is on the home page. Click to enter, you can select "Road Parking Lot" or "Public Parking Lot (Library)".
In the "Road Parking Lot" column, users can see the list of road parking lots that have been activated for the off-peak sharing "monthly settlement" function, and then click "Contract Application" to select the required road section to apply for the service immediately. After the application is approved, the applicant can choose the designated road parking lot for parking at night, weekends and holidays, and can enjoy the service of monthly preferential settlement of parking fees (only for smart road parking lots). Enter the "Public Parking Lot (Library)" column, and the user can see the information of the nearby parking lot and library. Users can select the desired yard and click "Buy", and then enter the relevant details page, where detailed information such as yard address, off-peak price, off-peak period, etc. are readily available. After reading and agreeing to the Signing Rules, you can pay the fee online. After the payment is successful, you can click on the order details to view. During the effective period of the order, the vehicle can enter and exit the contracted warehouse for free many times during the daily "off-peak hours" specified by the contracted yard.
In the next step, the Pudong New Area Construction and Transportation Commission will continue to sort out the list of yards and warehouses that are willing to stagger peaks, and encourage the on-line sharing of parking spaces in commercial public parking lots. At the same time, according to the progress of the construction of smart road parking lots, the road parking off-peak sharing monthly settlement policy will be gradually promoted to the whole region, so as to provide more parking spaces and better parking services for the public.
