Good poem of the day|If that's okay

If that's okay -

Text/Hua Ling

We turn on the TV every day

The screen is full of handsome guys and beauties

Advertisements for daily necessities are flying all over the sky

Why are there no novels and poems

Various star-making movements have come and gone

There are also marriage speed dating and funny shows

Entertainment gossip and lottery openings

We love it and enjoy it

When we indulge in the material world

Wandering on the edge of spirit and flesh

Under the spell of fame and fortune

Eager to climb the rolling wheels of money

We often dwell on what grows from this

Pleasure and pain in the trap of life and death

Struggling between alcohol, drugs, and disease

And forget the innocence of our childhood

At this time, you might as well lower your fanatical head

Take another look at your heart

Is there still blood lingering?

Is there still a dream?

What we are now pursuing

Has it made us change our mind?

What we're achieving now

Whether it has been spurned by us is not tolerated

We used to be an angular stone

Now it has slipped into the tide of the world

We are too shallow in our pursuit of vanity

But unfortunately lost in the highest level of spirituality

Read more novels? Read more poetry

Those scriptures will surely enlighten us

Communicate and confront these philosophers more

Our minds will not fall and be empty

It's not about going back in time

Life now is equally worth cherishing

But even if you linger for a moment in the old days

We will also have a surging mind, and our hearts will still be the same

If that's okay -

Whenever we turn on the TV

You can see the names of novels and poems

A good writer can also be as red and purple as a song star

Our lives are not much more fulfilling and interesting

Our choice is not closer to the essence of human nature

We're going to be a little bit more rational and a little more thoughtful

And not as impetuous, boring and boring as it is now
