In Batai Port in April, the grass is green and willow is yellow, and the peach blossoms are chaotic and plum flowers are fragrant. On the morning of the 13th, the first (2024) "Koudong Peach Blossom Yuan" mini-marathon of "Taoyuan Beauty and the Eighth Stage" started passionately.
This event is one of the series of activities of the 2024 Tianjin Baodi Sports Tourism Carnival, hosted by the Baodi District Sports Bureau and the People's Government of Koudong Town, Baodi District, and co-organized by the village-based team of the General Office of the Municipal Government, the village-based team of the Municipal Education Commission and the Baodi District Marathon Association. Since the registration was launched on April 2, the event has received widespread attention and dissemination, and the number of participants was quickly sold out, and more than 400 players from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei successfully signed up for the competition.
The race is a total of 8.18 kilometers, and the runners can enjoy the beautiful scenery of peach blossoms during the run, and in the gentle breeze and ethereal fragrance of peach blossoms, they take vigorous steps, breathe fresh air, enjoy the joy and freedom brought by sports and nature, and go to a spring running appointment together.
In order to ensure the smooth and safe progress of the event, the organizing committee set up love supply stations for the runners along the route, providing drinking water, functional drinks, fruits and other supplies, and set up fixed and mobile toilets near the start and finish points for the runners to use. At the same time, the competition gathered volunteers, public security, traffic police, medical and other staff to go all out to escort the safety of the event.
The 8.18-kilometer track brings together runners from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, adding a new color to the peach blossom-filled Batai Port. In the end, after fierce competition, Wei Jin from Shijiazhuang won the first place in the men's group, Xue Zhanshan from Qinhuangdao and Wang Chuanzeng from Tianjin Baodi won the second and third places respectively, Liu Lili from Tianjin Wuqing won the first place in the women's group, Wu Shuqing from Beijing and Ma Yuan from Tangshan won the second and third places respectively.
It is reported that this is the first time that Koudong Town has hosted a large-scale sports brand event, further promoting the integrated development of "sports + tourism + culture", promoting cultural tourism consumption, injecting strong momentum into building a cultural tourism brand, and also an important practice for the district party committee and district government to promote the rise of wind and water on both sides of the Chaobai River.
