Langya District 2024 "Manufacturing Industry" Vocational Skills Competition Announcement

In order to thoroughly implement the strategy of strengthening the region with talents, further strengthen the construction of high-skilled talents, improve the job skill level of the employees of the majority of enterprises in our district, enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises, and promote the high-quality employment of the majority of workers. After research, it was decided to hold the 2024 Enterprise Employee Skills Competition in Langya District.

1. Organizational units

The 2024 "Manufacturing Industry" Vocational Skills Competition in Langya District is hosted by the Langya District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the District Federation of Trade Unions, and the District Bureau of Commerce, and undertaken by Chuzhou Technician College. The main responsibilities are to formulate specific implementation rules for the competition in accordance with the unified requirements of the competition, implement the competition venues, facilities and equipment, and do a good job in registration and competition organization.

2. Participating occupations (types of work)

The competition occupations (types of work) of the series of competitions are: lifting and loading machinery operators (forklift drivers), welders (brazing workers). If there are less than 50 applicants for each occupation (type of work), the competition for the corresponding type of work will be cancelled.

3. Competition standards

This competition is a second-class competition at the municipal level. Each occupation (type of work) is based on senior workers (national vocational qualification level 3). All occupations (types of work) are proposed according to the national occupational standards of the corresponding level, and the content of new knowledge and new technologies is appropriately added. The competition consists of two parts: theoretical knowledge and operational skills, the theoretical knowledge adopts the method of written examination, and the operation skills are conducted in the form of on-site evaluation.

4. Participants

All employees or social employees of enterprises with junior high school or above who have been engaged in this occupation (type of work) or related majors for three years or more north of Qingliu Road in Chuzhou City and have not obtained any vocational qualification certificate/skill level certificate since January 1, 2023 can register for the competition. Non-Chuzhou players must provide a certificate of work in Chuzhou issued by their unit for more than one year, salary statement or other supporting materials, and those who have been insured in Chuzhou do not need to provide it.

5. Contest time

(1) Competition time. Theory exam: April 23, 2023

Practical exam: April 27, 2023

(3) Scope of participation. Lifting and loading machinery operators (forklift drivers), welders (brazers). The number of competing types of work shall not be less than 50. For jobs with less than 50 people, the organizing committee of the competition will cancel the competition for the type of work of the project.

(4) Registration arrangement. Each unit is responsible for organizing the registration of the participating employees of the enterprise, and will summarize the list of contestants to the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau before April 15.

7. Contest Method

1. This competition is based on the standard proposition of senior workers, and is carried out in the form of on-site practical operation and theoretical examination. The final score consists of a practical test score and a theory test score, with 70% for practical and 30% for the theory test.

2. Chuzhou Technician College is responsible for the whole process of the skills competition, the preparation of the competition plan, outline and competition procedures, propositions and marking, and the dispatch of evaluators to ensure the fairness and justice of the competition.

3. If the vocational skill level is promoted through the competition, the certificate obtained shall be in accordance with the principle of "who hosts, who is responsible", and the vocational skill level certificate shall be made and issued in the name of the competition organizing committee and in the form of a seal by the Langya District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.

8. Commendation and awards

1. Promotion of professional qualifications and awarding honorary titles: the first contestant in each type of work shall be awarded the title of "Chuzhou Technical Expert" by the Chuzhou Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau; if the theoretical and practical results are qualified, the top 10% of the contestants in each occupation (type of work) can be promoted to the second level of vocational skill level/technician; the top 11%-20% of the players in each occupation (type of work) can be promoted to the third level of vocational skill level/senior worker, and those who have already had the third level of vocational skill level/senior worker can be promoted to the second level of vocational skill level/technician; The top 21%-40% of players in each occupation (type of work) can be promoted to the third level of vocational skill level/senior worker. The organizer of this vocational skills competition will issue a vocational qualification certificate or a vocational skill level recognition certificate in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security.

2. Material rewards for the winners: 1 first, 2nd and 3rd prize for each occupation (type of work) competition, with awards of 1,000 yuan, 800 yuan and 500 yuan respectively.
