"Purchasing concert tickets" scam police remind beware of three "routines"

There are internal ticket purchase channels, sending fake website links, and forging high-imitation tickets...... The local police reminded that when buying concert tickets, you must choose a formal ticketing platform, avoid purchasing through unknown websites or individuals, and carefully identify the anti-counterfeiting logos, QR codes and other information on the tickets.

According to the Dalian police, some fraudsters posted false information on WeChat, Weibo and other online platforms about "purchasing concert tickets", and after contacting the ticket buyers, they asked to pay for the tickets by Alipay and other means, and then demanded continuous payment to commit fraud on the grounds of "wrong remarks information".

Xiao Jiang, a college student, did not buy tickets for a celebrity's concert through formal channels, so he searched for concert ticket information on Weibo and found that a user posted that he had a ticket, so he contacted the other party in a private message. The other party asked Xiao Jiang to provide his name, ID number, and mobile phone number, and then sent a link asking for payment through Alipay. After Xiao Jiang operated as required, the other party said that Xiao Jiang forgot to fill in the remarks and did not receive the money, and asked for another transfer. After Xiao Jiang transferred the money again, the other party refused to issue the ticket on the grounds of "error in the format of the remarks information". Xiao Jiang realizes that he has been scammed when he applies for a refund.

Dalian police reminded beware of three "purchase concert tickets" fraud "routines": first, before the official start of ticket sales for the concert, fraudsters released false information such as "there are internal ticket purchase channels" and "you can buy very tight tickets", and demanded payment of the price for various reasons such as deposits and hardship fees; second, before the performance began, fraudsters fabricated reasons such as "I have bought tickets but I can't go because of something" and "I don't want to go after breaking up with the object", and "tearfully transferred" on some second-hand trading websites Third, fraudsters lurk in social software groups such as WeChat and QQ in advance, publish ticket sales information, and commit fraud by sending fake website links or forging high-imitation tickets.
