Yellow Warning Signal for Thunder and Lightning
Blue Warning Signal for High Winds
The Aohanqi Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for thunder and lightning: thunder and lightning activities may occur in the central area of Aohanqi within 6 hours, and local areas are accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation, thunderstorms, strong winds, hail and other strong convective weather, which may cause thunder, floods, urban waterlogging and other disasters. Relevant units and personnel are requested to make precautionary preparations.
The Ningcheng County Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning signal for high winds: Ningcheng County may be affected by strong winds within 24 hours, with an average wind strength of more than 6 and gusts of more than 7. Relevant units and personnel are requested to make precautionary preparations.
Meteorological disaster risk warning for agriculture and animal husbandry in Chifeng City
At 17:00 on April 12, 2024, the Chifeng Meteorological Bureau and the Chifeng Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Bureau jointly issued a facility agricultural meteorological disaster risk warning:
1. Early warning of agrometeorological disaster risk in facilities
Affected by the Mongolian cyclone, on April 13~15, there will be a weather process of strong wind, dust, cooling and weak precipitation in Chifeng City. On the night of the 13th ~ during the day of the 14th, the average wind strength in most areas of Chifeng City was 5~6, and the gusts of Keshiketeng Banner, Linxi County, Bahrain Right Banner, Bahrain Left Banner, Alukorqin Banner, Wengniute Banner and Aohan Banner could reach 8~9, and the gusts in the rest of the area could reach 7~8.
According to the intelligent grid forecast data, combined with the wind disaster indicators of facility agriculture, from April 13 to 14, the central, northern and eastern areas of Chifeng City were low-risk areas of wind disaster for facility agriculture. Among them, the northern part of the Keshiketeng Banner, the southeast of the Right Banner of Bahrain, the southern part of the Left Banner of Bahrain and the north-central part of the Wengniute Banner are medium-risk areas for wind disasters in facility agriculture (see Figure 1), which are prone to damage to facility agriculture and livestock shed facilities, so relevant units and farmers are requested to take precautions.
2. Defensive countermeasures
Please prepare for wind protection in advance, strengthen the investigation of potential safety hazards of the wall and the main skeleton, especially for the old greenhouse, shed ring and greenhouse and grass storage shed with hidden dangers in wind and pressure resistance, and maintain and reinforce it as soon as possible; repair the leakage of the greenhouse film in time, tighten the film pressing line to prevent air leakage; close the air outlet when the wind is strong, and fix the floating objects around the shed at the same time; do a good job in the management of thermal insulation covering at night, after the insulation quilt and grass are put down, the bolt rope on the east and west sides should be fixed on the gable, and compacted with heavy objects at the front foot. Fix the wires and lines around the shed in a timely manner, and carefully investigate the fire safety hazards inside and outside the grass storage warehouse (shed).
