The Xiguanbeili Community League Branch cooperated with the caring merchant Jiefeng Barber Shop to carry out free haircut activities for the elderly in the community through volunteer services. The Xiaochunli Community League Branch organized young volunteers to go into the homes of the elderly, tidy up their rooms, clean them, read newspapers, and tell stories, so as to help the elderly clean up and enrich their spiritual and cultural life. The Qingfengli Community League Branch and the Department of Ophthalmology of Nankai Hospital carried out the volunteer service activity of "Caring for the Eye Health Screening of the Middle-aged and Elderly", popularizing the knowledge of eye diseases such as cataract and presbyopia, as well as how to prevent and treat related eye diseases.
