It turns out that this place belongs to Shuiyuan Township, Xunwu County, Ganzhou City, and is in the main production area of navel oranges in southern Ganzhou. The fruit trees in the plastic film greenhouse are the navel oranges I like to eat.
I also learned that Ganzhou is currently the largest producer of navel oranges in the mainland, with an annual output of one million tons. Moreover, the quality of Gannan navel orange has been maintained very well, and as early as the beginning of this century, it has become a national geographical indication product in China. In recent years, fruit growers in Ganzhou have made persistent efforts to further adopt this new plastic film greenhouse technology to protect navel oranges from rain, freezing and insect infestation during the flowering and fruiting stages. Although this new technology will increase production costs, it will avoid the excessive use of pesticides and insecticides, thus ensuring that all navel oranges produced meet the standards of high-quality organic fruit.
After solving the doubts in my heart, when I returned to the village and looked at the navel orange orchard in the mountains, I seemed to feel that the large white patches had become colorful and sweet. Through the barrier of time, I have seen the songs and laughter of the harvest in autumn, and the vigorous vitality that science and technology continue to bring to the development of agriculture and rural areas here......
I didn't expect that I would be able to see the beautiful landscape created by the new modern planting technology of navel oranges in southern Gannan on the mountain path to the Hanxian Rock Scenic Area, and taste the surprise of "another village with orange and red flowers" when "the mountains and rivers are exhausted and there is no way out"!
