The United States, Japan and the Philippines threatened to interfere in the Taiwan Strait, and within 12 hours, China countered: cutting off the financial route of the US military industrial giant to aid Taiwan

China's countermeasures are timely and powerful, and when the heads of state of the United States, Japan and the Philippines are still hyping up the "China threat", the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a sanction order, which directly cut off the financial route of the US military industrial giants to aid Taiwan.

The United States, Japan and the Philippines hype up the "China threat"

It is reported that a few days ago, US President Joe Biden, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos held trilateral talks.

During the talks, the three countries repeatedly mentioned China-related issues.

In the joint statement, the three countries pointed out that in the South China Sea and East China Sea, China is "trying to unilaterally change the status quo by force," and the United States, Japan and the Philippines are very "worried."

The United States, Japan and the Philippines will work to uphold the "international order based on basic rules" and the "free and open Indo-Pacific region."

In addition, when it comes to Taiwan-related issues, the three countries said that their basic positions remain unchanged and called for a "peaceful settlement of cross-strait issues."

Let me ask you: What is wrong with China in carrying out official duties within its own territorial waters in the East China Sea, the South China Sea, and the Taiwan Strait? How can it make the United States feel "worried"? When will it be the turn of the United States, Japan, and the Philippines to discuss China's own affairs?

After discussing the so-called "China concerns," the United States, Japan, and the Philippines announced that they would conduct joint military exercises in the waters near Japan.

I am afraid that the purpose of the US side is to use China's "threat theory" to conduct military exercises around China in order to achieve its attempt to suppress China.

In the end, although China did not participate in the meeting, the meeting of the United States, Japan and the Philippines was inseparable from the China issue, and continued to slander China and reach a so-called defense consensus.

In this regard, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that China firmly opposes any practice based on the Cold War mentality and small group politics, and resolutely opposes any remarks and actions that create and exacerbate contradictions and harm the strategic security and interests of other countries.

In addition, the one-China principle is a historical and international consensus, and the Taiwan issue is entirely China's internal affair, which brooks no interference by any external forces. Both the U.S. and Japanese governments have made promises to China, and they have kept their word.

China shows its sword and countermeasures

Of course, the Chinese side has said these things many times, but the United States and Japan are still unmoved, and the main reason is that the Chinese side has not hit them in the sore spot.

This time, China chose to hurt the United States.

Less than 12 hours after the United States and Japan announced their "interference in the Taiwan Strait", China's countermeasures came.

The Chinese side said that because the United States continues to sell weapons to China's Taiwan region, it has seriously violated the one-China principle and the provisions of the three China-US joint communiqués, seriously interfered in China's internal affairs, and seriously undermined China's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Therefore, the Chinese side has decided to take countermeasures against General Atomics Aeronautical Systems and General Dynamics Land Systems, which are involved in arms sales to China's Taiwan region.

First, it is necessary to freeze its movable property, immovable property, and other types of property within the territory of the mainland.

Second, the senior management of GM will not be granted visas and will not be allowed to enter the country.

The sanctions were implemented on the same day that they were issued, so that US companies did not have time to make any moves, and directly confiscated all their assets in China and cut off their financial routes.

At the same time, it is also a vivid political lesson for other Western companies and politicians in the world who violate China's principles.

Any individual or collective that violates China's principles will be sanctioned by China.

This is not the first time that China has taken countermeasures

It is also worth mentioning that this is not the first time that China has disposed of a US company that has sold arms to Taiwan.

Earlier, China sanctioned five US military enterprises in one go. They are Bey Land and Weapons Systems, Aerospace Environment, Joint Technology Systems Operations, ViaSat and Data Link Solutions.

They, like General Electric and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, are arms production giants involved in arms sales to Taiwan.

This time, China chose to increase its countermeasures and raise the "stick of sanctions" against the US military industry, which is their own fault.

China is still holding a fluke mentality on the precedents that have already been set up, and China will increase sanctions on US companies, and any individual collective that undermines the "one-China principle" will not be able to escape China's sanctions, but it is only a matter of time, and the mainland will beat them until they know the pain.

Similarly, since the beginning of 2024, the mainland has released a report on its work on Taiwan, which focuses on resolutely opposing interference in the Taiwan Strait by external forces.

As far as the United States is concerned, a U.S. military-industrial enterprise may be able to bear the impact of losing its business in China, but does the United States dare to gamble on the entire Sino-US economic, trade and financial relationship?

In particular, just a few days after US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen's visit to China, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken revealed his willingness to visit China.

Even so, US President Joe Biden personally called the Chinese side and assured the Chinese side that he does not support "Taiwan independence".

This shows that the United States cannot afford to shut down trade with China, so the United States cannot recklessly provoke the mainland on Taiwan-related issues.

In short, China will resolutely not compromise on the Taiwan Strait issue, and any attempt to change the status quo will face strong countermeasures, and all attempts to challenge the "one-China principle" will never succeed.
