The bizarre theft of the home caused the loss of nearly 90,000 yuan
"My house was burglarized. In July last year, Xiaoqing went to the public security organ to report that she had lost a number of brand-name bags and several pieces of precious jewelry worth nearly 90,000 yuan from her home. "I went out this morning to carry a Hermès bag, but I couldn't find it. And I noticed that the locker was noticeably empty, and the number of bags was only half of what it used to be. I took a closer look and found that several luxury brand bags and a few necklaces were missing......"

It turned out that Xiaoqian, who was from a wealthy family, often went to the beauty salon for skin care. At the beginning of 2020, she did a nursing project in a beauty salon and met beautician Zhu. At the end of 2023, the case was transferred to the Huangpu District Procuratorate for review and prosecution. After review in accordance with the law, the Huangpu District Procuratorate found that Zhu secretly stole other people's property for the purpose of illegal possession, and after appraisal, the value of the stolen items was nearly 90,000 yuan, a relatively large amount, and his behavior had constituted the crime of theft. After arriving at the case, Zhu truthfully confessed the crime and voluntarily pleaded guilty and accepted punishment. Finally, in March this year, the Huangpu District Court sentenced the defendant Zhu to three years in prison, suspended for four years, and fined 20,000 yuan for theft.
