In April every year, Hunan Guangxiu Health Management Center carries out first-aid knowledge and skills training, with the aim of improving the first-aid ability of medical staff to deal with emergencies, reduce the occurrence of accidental injuries, and ensure the safety of physical examination customers.
Recently, the medical staff of Hunan Guangxiu Health Management Center gathered again and carried out training and assessment on the theme of first aid through the method of "lectures, performances, and examinations".
1. Lecturing
Zhang Can, a member of the Changsha Municipal Health Commission and Changsha Pre-hospital First Aid Training Center, served as the lecturer of the training. Based on her rich experience in dealing with critically ill patients in the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, she explained in detail to her colleagues the theoretical knowledge and operation procedures of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, automatic external defibrillation, and removal of airway foreign body obstruction in adults and infants. She used the interactive way of asking questions about the key points in the class, and constantly led everyone into the first aid situation, making the class lively and interesting.
2. Acting
After explaining the theoretical knowledge, Dr. Zhang Can and his colleagues conducted an operation demonstration, gradually decomposed the movements, and helped everyone review and familiarize themselves with the core steps of cardiopulmonary resuscitation "C-A-B", using the "one open, two stick, three plug and four electricity" method for AED operation, and the "three steps of rock, scissors, and paper" for adult airway foreign body obstruction.
3. Entrance examination
After the class, Hunan Guangxiu Health Management Center organized an on-site assessment to test the learning effect, and all students successfully met the standard.
