On the afternoon of April 10th, the first exhibition of the series of cultural and art exhibitions for the 10th anniversary of the opening of the China Overseas Chinese History Museum - "Encounter, Mood" Zhou Jiexiang's Landscape Photography Exhibition opened in Beijing.

Wang Hong, consultant of the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and president of the China Overseas Chinese Photography Society, Song Jing, vice chairman of the China Photographers Association, and Ai Hui, vice chairman of the Jiangsu Federation of Overseas Chinese, attended the opening ceremony. Also present at the opening ceremony were Gao Qin, former secretary general of the China Photographers Association, Mr. Chen Duo, a famous host of CCTV, Huang Wen, vice president of China Photo Agency, president and editor-in-chief of Photography World, Zhang Xiuming, deputy director of the China Institute of Overseas Chinese and Chinese Studies, and nearly 200 guests from Beijing, Shandong, Jiangsu, Heilongjiang, Fujian, Hong Kong, Macao, Japan, Hungary, New Zealand and Canada.

This exhibition is guided by the China Overseas Chinese Photography Society, hosted by the China Overseas Chinese History Museum, supported by the International Cultural Exchange Promotion Association of the Jiangsu Federation of Overseas Chinese, undertaken by the Nantong Federation of Overseas Chinese, and co-organized by the Hai'an Federation of Overseas Chinese. The exhibition lasts for one month.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was presided over by Jia Decheng, deputy director of the China Overseas Chinese History Museum, and Mr. Zhou Jiexiang delivered a welcome speech. Wang Hong, president of the China Overseas Chinese Photography Society, said at the opening ceremony: He has seen many of Mr. Zhou's photographic works and is deeply touched:

One is that he is very obsessed with photography. In particular, he closely combined exploration and photography, and drove to Tibet and Hexi Corridor many times, passing through the uninhabited areas of Hoh Xil and Lop Nur, while exploring, while looking for the beauty of light and shadow, and carefully creating photography, thus leaving many beautiful scenery works, thus also cultivating his brave, persistent, and endurance photography spirit.

The second is that he is very photographic. He takes his soul as a mirror, always adheres to and adheres to the ideal of photography, and strives to reflect the spectacular mountains and dangerous peaks, beautiful mountains and rivers, unique national architecture, rich cultural customs and other landscapes and situations in the light and shadow.

Third, he has a unique vision for photography. He has a keen sense of touch and a smart imagination, forging an eye for photographic discovery, using an objective and multi-dimensional perspective to quietly capture the beauty of mood and nature, which fully reflects his photographic personality and artistic pursuit.

Ai Hui, vice chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, said: From Zhou Jiexiang's photographic works, we can feel his love and reverence for the great rivers and mountains of the motherland, and also show the feelings of the vast number of overseas Chinese and Chinese who have never forgotten their roots and always think of the source of the water.

Mr. Zhou Jiexiang is an overseas Chinese in New Zealand, he loves the beautiful mountains and rivers of the motherland, and has driven 18 times in the western plateau for many years, recording the magnificent nature and simple people of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with his camera and words. This exhibition exhibits 64 masterpieces of scenery that he has created over the years, and he hopes to let the world know more about the beautiful China and the magnificent beauty of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, which is unique in the world.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Zhou Jiexiang presented his works to the Overseas Chinese History Museum, relevant overseas Chinese photography groups and individuals at home and abroad, and the Overseas Chinese History Museum issued a donation certificate to him.
