He had two older sisters and three younger sisters, and his father died in 1968. When Uncle Shao was 17 years old, he joined a transportation company as a maintenance apprentice. In August 2022, Ah Zhu was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, and he also had minor problems with his parathyroid glands, which required surgery. For two surgeries and eight subsequent chemotherapy sessions, Uncle Shao was by Azhu's side.

Ah Zhu said that Uncle Shao's cooking is very level, and she has no appetite after the operation.
Ah Zhu said that she and Uncle Shao have been together for more than ten years, and they didn't know that he could sing. Uncle Shao explained that he was too busy with business and hadn't touched music for decades.
