In the gentle embrace of spring, the Chinese wood hydrangea is like an elegant poet, quietly blooming its unique charm. Zhang Yan, a lyricist of the Song Dynasty, once described this flower in his words: "Leave a group of harmony, this flower is blooming, and spring is round." This phrase not only captures the gentle beauty of the wood hydrangea, but also symbolizes the fullness of spring and the cycle of life.
This unique plant blooms for nearly a month, from the light green of the first bloom to the snow white of the gradual unfolding, like the brush of time gently passing by, leaving a vivid picture. The flowers slowly stretch over time, and the clusters become denser and denser, and finally condense into snow-white clusters on the branches, which are beautiful.
Unlike other flowers, the uniqueness of the Chinese wood hydrangea lies in its floral lignification characteristics, and the morphology is closer to that of trees. It grows several meters high, its branches are covered with flowers, and it looks like snow from afar, making it a spectacular and elegant sight that makes it a favorite choice for gardening enthusiasts when it is in full bloom.
According to the district green department, at present, Wuxing Garden (Hengshan Road, Wuxing Road) and Guilin Park in the area are the best viewing spots for wood hydrangea, and countless photographers and flower lovers come to watch. People walk among the flowers, enjoy the warmth of spring, and at the same time feel the infinite charm of nature.
