Wang Songchun, 66, is an insured worker in Xingwang Village, Yaxi Sub-district. However, since late March this year, the clinic in Xingwang Village has opened a co-ordinated outpatient service for employees, which means that Wang Songchun can now use his medical insurance card to settle the cost of medicine purchases at the village clinic.
At noon on April 8, Wang Songchun prescribed some drugs for the treatment of low back and leg pain in the clinic, with a total value of nearly 40 yuan, which was paid by the outpatient pooling fund and personal account, and he did not need to pay cash. Wang Songchun said that because the township hospital is far away and the village clinic is only a few hundred meters away, it is very convenient to measure blood pressure and get medicine. Cheng Zhenghu, the head of the Xingwang Village Clinic, told reporters that since the opening of the employee medical insurance service on March 20, more than 160 people have been treated by swiping the card. They plan to step up their efforts to educate more villagers about the new service.
The inclusion of village clinics in the designated management of medical insurance not only facilitates the masses to enjoy services nearby, but also reduces the pressure on large hospitals. At the end of last year, the Jiangzhang Village Clinic in Gubai Street, which is adjacent to Gaochun People's Hospital, opened a medical insurance co-ordination service for employees, becoming one of the first village clinics in the district to provide this service. Villagers said that now they can choose to be treated at the village clinic for minor illnesses without having to queue up at a large hospital, and the reimbursement rate is relatively high, which is welcomed by the elderly.
After several trainings, both young doctors and senior village doctors have been able to proficiently operate the outpatient card service of employee medical insurance, ensuring the smooth implementation of the service. Zhang Xin, head of the Jiangzhang Village Clinic in Gubai Street, said that since the opening of the employee medical insurance service, the number of outpatient clinics has increased significantly, which has further improved the service capacity of the clinic.
Due to the large number of enterprises and companies, there are many employees participating in medical insurance. In order to meet the needs of the masses, the Cooper Central Health Center and the surrounding 13 village clinics quickly opened the outpatient co-ordination service of employee medical insurance, forming a convenient medical treatment mode for the masses.
The Gaochun Medical Insurance Branch is also equipped with card readers and other equipment to carry out medical insurance coding, account application and system training, and realize the real-time transmission of medical insurance settlement data. At present, on the basis of realizing the full coverage of the outpatient co-ordination service of urban and rural residents, the community health service stations and village health service rooms in the district have also opened the co-ordination service of outpatient services for employees, and the opening rate of both services has reached 100%.
Next, the Gaochun Medical Insurance Branch will regularly organize medical insurance designated institutions to carry out medical insurance policy publicity and training, improve the professional ability of grassroots doctors, and ensure that the masses fully enjoy medical insurance treatment. At the same time, guide institutions to improve the use and management capabilities of medical insurance funds, and promote real-name management, so as to achieve full coverage of "face recognition" medical treatment and drug purchase.
