Since the delivery of the first batch of Seaford cows in the whole industry chain project of Yaradrong, Jiange County, after more than a year of breeding, the first batch of introduced Highford cows have calved and have begun calf recovery.
Since December 2022, when the Yaradrong high-quality beef cattle whole industry chain project landed in Jiange County, 12 cooperative farms (households) in the county have delivered 288 Heifer breeding cows and 220 calves, and 9 farmers are still waiting to deliver Haiford cows. Caidong Family Farm completed the first contract with Yala Derong Company as early as September 2022, delivered 68 Furford cows in May last year, and has now calved 60 cows, and 40 pregnant cows for secondary breeding. According to the contract signed with Guangyuan Yala Derong Company, the calves will be recovered by the company at 10,000 yuan per head when the breeding period reaches 6 months or weighs about 450 catties.
