The MSI Play-in Tournament draw group will be held in the LPL Spring Finals on April 20, and xiye will be the guest of honor in the draw!
Play-In Tournament has four seed pools
- No. 1 seed pool: LPL2, LCK2
- No. 2 seed pool: LEC2, LCS2
- 3号种子池:PCS1、VCS1
- 4号种子池:LLA1、CBLOL1
Play-in Tournament Draw Rules:
- Teams are divided into two groups
- The LPL will not be in the same group as the second seed of the LCK
- The second seed team in the European and American regions will not be in the same group
- The team from the No. 1 seed pool plays the team from the No. 4 seed pool
- The team from the second seed pool will play against the team from the third seed pool
- The first to get two wins directly qualified for the main event

The draw for the main stage of the MSI will be on May 5, and the eight teams will be divided into four seeded pools in the draw.

- The No. 1 seed team in the European and American regions will not be in the same group
- The team from the No. 1 seed pool plays the team from the No. 4 seed pool
- The team from the second seed pool will play against the team from the third seed pool
- Teams from the same region will not be placed in the same half of the division
