The massive bombardment of Ukraine's infrastructure by the Russian Aerospace Forces on April 11 angered MEPs, who then cancelled the agenda that had been planned to vote on the European Council's funding "budget" and proposed a "linkage" bill, that is, the European Parliament will vote on the European Council's "budget" only on the premise that EU countries urgently assist Ukraine with seven "Patriot" missile systems.
In the vote on this temporary "linked bill", the European Parliament voted 515 in favor and 62 against, and it was passed. In other words, if the European Council cannot coordinate EU countries to provide Ukraine with 7 "Patriot" missile defense systems as soon as possible, the budget of the European Council will not be adopted, and the normal operation of the EU headquarters will be affected.
Judging from the large-scale bombing by Russia and the passage of this temporary bill of the European Parliament, the battlefield situation in Ukraine is not optimistic, and it also shows that European countries will not give up on Ukraine. Therefore, this Russian-Ukrainian war will still be fought.
