——Pinghu Street Fuchengao Community carried out intangible cultural heritage experience activities
On April 11, 2024, in order to promote the traditional culture of the Chinese nation, inherit the excellent cultural essence of "intangible cultural heritage", and enrich the lives of residents in the jurisdiction, on April 9, the New Era Civilization Practice Station and the Party and Mass Service Center of Fuchengao Community, Pinghu Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen, together with Ye's Orthopedic Medicine, carried out volunteer service activities for intangible cultural heritage experience in the Ye's Orthopaedic Exhibition Hall of Pinghu Cultural and Sports Center.

It is understood that Shenzhen Ye's osteopathic medicine was founded in Fuchengao Village, Pinghu Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen, and has a history of more than 150 years. Ye Meimei, the inheritor of intangible cultural heritage, inherited the mantle of his great-grandfather and father, studied medicine, and perfected the "Ye's Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedic Technique", which originated in the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty and has been passed down for four generations, forming a unique orthopedic treatment method. In the past half century, Ye Meimei has rejuvenated and cured 300,000 patients with bone injuries, and has won the honors of "Mentor for the Dissemination of Civilized Virtues in Longgang District" and the 4th "Dream and Power - Touching Longgang Characters" in Longgang District. In 2013, Yip's orthopaedic bone was included in the list of intangible cultural heritage of Longgang District, and enjoys a good reputation in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, the Pearl River Delta and even all parts of the country, and is known as the "holy hand of bones" and "noble medical ethics and exquisite art".

At the event, Dr. Ye Suixin introduced the development history of Ye's osteopathic medicine and the display of intangible cultural heritage items to the residents of the district, from ancient medical manuscripts to hand-me-down medical tools, all of which revealed the long history of Ye's osteopathic medicine. A free clinic session was also set up at the site to conduct one-on-one skeletal condition assessment and consultation for the residents present, integrating theoretical knowledge into practical operation, so that residents could experience the subtlety and effectiveness of the intangible cultural heritage Yip's orthopedic technique.
