In order to further improve the public's awareness of the harm of drugs and enhance the concept of anti-drug rule of law, on April 11, the anti-drug brigade of the Xinjiang County Public Security Bureau and anti-drug social workers carried out drug prevention education and publicity activities in Yaotou Village.
During the activity, the anti-drug police and anti-drug social workers publicized anti-drug knowledge face-to-face with the villagers by entering the village, patiently explained the types and characteristics of drugs, methods of preventing drugs and anti-drug related laws and regulations, and used cases to explain the harm caused by drugs to the villagers, so that the villagers could deeply understand that drugs harm themselves, others, families and society. In view of the problem of easy cultivation of drug plants in rural areas, the harm and legal responsibility of illegal cultivation of drug plants were popularized to the villagers, and the new types of drugs that are currently popular in the society and the physiological reactions and harms after smoking were introduced to the villagers by showing the anti-drug propaganda simulation model.
At the same time, they are encouraged to support and participate in anti-drug work, pass on anti-drug knowledge to their relatives and friends, raise their own anti-drug awareness, and warn villagers to actively report to the public security organs if they discover illegal and criminal acts such as drug use, drug production, and drug trafficking.
In this activity, more than 200 copies of anti-drug propaganda materials were distributed, which achieved good publicity and education results, and also further enhanced the awareness of the rural masses to stay away from drugs and reject drugs. (Fan Jun, Sun Chenlu)
