1. Kuomintang officers broke into the liberated areas
The refugee-like major of the Kuomintang Army is named Zhao Wei, and his real identity is an intelligence agent of our party within the Kuomintang.
At that time, his identity was discovered by the Kuomintang, and he was rounded up by the military commanders, in order to avoid pursuit, Zhao Wei could only hide and hide with the military commanders for several days, and his body was dirty, and he could only rely on eating wild vegetables for several days, but fortunately, he finally escaped into the liberated area.

2. From Major of the National Army to Communist Party Intelligence Officer
At the age of 20, Zhao Wei, who graduated from the Army School, was depressed in the Kuomintang army, and accidentally came to his old classmate Zhu Jianguo to help.
At Zhu Jianguo's place, Zhao Wei accidentally came into contact with some progressive books, and Zhu Jianguo did not shy away from it at all, often talking to him about the revolution and the situation.
Soon after, Zhu Jianguo secretly became a member of the Communist Party, and Zhao Wei was also appointed as a major staff officer of the Northeast Command of the National Army.
But the friendship between the two was not affected, but under the influence of Zhu Jianguo, Zhao Wei's thinking gradually moved closer to the Communist Party.

After years of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Zhao Wei deeply saw the corruption of the Kuomintang and knew that it was hopeless, so he contacted Zhu Jianguo again.
In March 1946, Zhu Jianguo introduced Zhao Wei to Wang Shijian, who was in charge of the CCP's northern intelligence, and Wang Shijian admired Zhao Wei very much and met with him three times.
In the end, Shi Jian reported Zhao Wei's situation to Li Kenong of the Central Committee, recognizing Zhao Wei's ability, and Li Kenong also made an exception to approve Zhao Wei as an intelligence officer as a non-Communist Party member, and gave him the code name "902".
Zhao Wei, who became an "agent", successfully completed the task many times. Although his position is not high, he has access to core secrets, and for the sake of insurance, Zhao Wei also proposed to establish a secret radio station in Shenyang.

Since then, Zhao Wei has come to the home of the comrade in charge of intelligence transmission once a month to pass on the information in time. At the beginning of 1947, because of Zhao Wei's secret intelligence, Du Yuming's team at that time was dealt a heavy blow.
One night at the end of September 1947, Zhao Wei went to the home of the comrade who delivered the information as usual, but found something wrong at the door, so he immediately returned to his residence.
Zhao Wei's feeling was right, and just two days later, the comrade was arrested by the Kuomintang.
There was an accident, and Zhao Wei had been worrying about how to pass on the information. It was at this time that he received an order to go to Peking to present Chiang Kai-shek with his own defense and battle plan for the Northeast.

3. Resourcefulness saves life
After going to Beiping, Zhao Wei learned that he had passed by Chiang Kai-shek, and the other party had flown to Shenyang. So, Zhao Wei thought of finding his old classmates and inquiring about the latest news.
From the mouths of his classmates, Zhao Wei learned that the Kuomintang had just arrested four underground members of the CCP, including his old classmate Zhu Jianguo.

Zhao Wei remembered that Wang Shijian had instructed that if he could not contact Zhu Jianguo, he would go to a Kuomintang officer named Wang Xiao, who was also an intelligence officer of the Communist Party.
After connecting with Wang Xiao, the two had a brief exchange on the current situation, and in order to avoid being noticed, Zhao Wei and Wang Xiao agreed to meet again the next night.
But when it was the next night, Zhao Wei found several strange men standing in front of Wang Xiao's house. He knew that Wang Xiao was also exposed.
After thinking about it calmly, Zhao Wei went to his classmates to inquire about the news, and then returned to Shenyang.
