The year 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping's overall national security concept, in order to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Second Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, consolidate and deepen the achievements of the theme education of League members and youth, guide the majority of League members and young people to deeply study and implement the overall national security concept, mobilize and lead the majority of League members and young people to unswervingly follow the path of national security with Chinese characteristics, and improve security awareness. On April 15, 2024, on the occasion of the 9th National Security Education Day, the Yongtai Community Youth League Branch organized a group day activity with the theme of "National Security, Youth Stand Up".
At the beginning of the event, the host introduced the origin of the National Security Day, focused the attention of the members and young people on national security education, led everyone to learn and understand the concept of national security, and introduced the learning theme of "learning national security knowledge and jointly safeguarding national security". Subsequently, the moderator popularized national security knowledge to the members and young people around four aspects: "what is national security", "current international and domestic situation", "behaviors endangering national security" and "how to safeguard national security". At the same time, through national security education, everyone can have a comprehensive understanding of national security laws and regulations, master security prevention skills, and promote the integration of national security awareness into daily life, which is deeply rooted in the hearts of young people.
During the learning process, the host interacted with everyone, throwing out the question of "how to establish national security awareness among young people", and the members and young people shared their views in combination with the actual exchange, and expressed that they would adhere to the guidance of the overall national security concept in practice, love the great motherland, stand up to the mission, and actively safeguard national security.
