On April 6, Runtai Smart Agriculture Industrial Park, located in Kekedala City, the Fourth Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, officially launched the planting of tomatoes in the membrane greenhouse, with a planting area of more than 100,000 square meters and more than 56,000 plants of the "Yingxia" varieties selected and introduced by the Netherlands. Soilless cultivation and drip irrigation technology using coconut peat as a substrate can save water and fertilizer, and is not limited by natural conditions. At the same time, biophysical disease prevention, water and fertilizer integration and other technologies were used to improve the quality of tomatoes. It is reported that at present, the planting task of 216 acres of string tomatoes in the whole industrial park has been completed. Photo by Ming Hui
