The United States is a vast and sparsely populated country, and pickup trucks are an indispensable tool in Americans' daily life and work. Pickup truck sales in the U.S. have been high, with more than 2 million pickup trucks sold in the U.S. in 2023.
In many ways, an electric pickup truck is more practical than an electric car. Due to the characteristics of electric motors, electric trucks can provide tremendous torque and are ideal for off-road driving, hauling, and towing.
Electric trucks are likely to have significantly lower maintenance and operating costs compared to traditional pickups, which is extremely attractive to fleet buyers who need to purchase and maintain multiple vehicles. Since pickup trucks are often used for commercial purposes and travel much longer per day than regular cars, the use of electric trucks has the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Ram Revolution

It's unclear when the EF1-T will be on the market, and it's doubtful that it will even be able to go into mass production.
