At the time of the PLA's large-scale exercise on the Sino-Burmese border, another piece of good news came, that is, the notorious so-called "Myawaddy Park" had been successfully broken by the armed forces of the Karen coalition forces a few days ago! This undoubtedly shows that after the Kokang "electric fraud park" in northern Myanmar was wiped out, the "park" on the Thai-Burmese border in southeastern Myanmar has also been overturned. This clearly shows that the day is not far off when the so-called "wire fraud" will be completely eradicated in Myanmar.
Unlike the previously eradicated "tele gardens" in the Kokang region of northern Myanmar, Myawaddy is located in southeastern Myanmar, across the river from Thailand across the Moai River. Compared with the "electric fraud" in northern Myanmar, the "electric fraud park" here is larger, the behavior is more rampant, and the nature is more bad!

In addition, the leader of this armed group, Sukhitu, who was originally a member of the largest armed Karen National League in Kayin State, later turned away from the Karen National League and "set up its own door", so this Sukhitu and his "Karen Border Guards" have always been opposed by the Karen National League, and now Myanmar's opposition to and crackdown on electric fraud is getting louder and louder, and the Karen National League has also taken advantage of the situation to launch a large-scale offensive against Myawaddy.
On December 2, 2023, the Karen coalition forces cut off Myawaddy's external access roads, and after months of fighting, the Karen National Alliance coalition forces finally officially captured Myawaddy, and 67 officers, 59 female soldiers, 410 ordinary male soldiers and 81 military dependents of the Burmese army have surrendered in Myawaddy, which means that the battle against Myawaddy has finally achieved a decisive victory.
It is also worth noting that the Myanmar authorities have recently arrested their own deputy defense minister on suspicion of wire fraud. It is not difficult to see that cracking down on wire fraud is already the trend of the times in Myanmar, and the Burmese authorities are no longer willing to have anything to do with wire fraud! This is, of course, a welcome piece of good news!
At present, Myanmar has won a phased victory in cracking down on wire fraud, and it is believed that it will not be long before the wire fraud will be completely eradicated!
