I. Preface
Because of the need to use the 24C02 to store the parameters of the board in engineering, I tested this EEPROM a few days ago without a separate erase command, HK24C02. The version of the SOT25 package ordered also arrived today. Let's test the use of this package chip. It occupies a smaller board area than the SOP8 package.
2. Circuit design
Design the test board. Tested with STM32F030 microcontrollers. This is a HK24C02 chip in a SOT25 package. It is connected to the microcontroller via the I2C bus. The circuit is quite simple. Lay a single-sided PCB, which includes three flying leads. After a minute, the test board is obtained. The board is made to perfection.

3. Welding test
Soldering circuit boards. Wash and then test. Download the basic runner. The LED lights on the board start flashing. Let's write an I2C bus program to access the HK24C02. Fortunately, this tester has already been tested before, so you can copy it into this new project.
Fourth, test the chip
Copy the program from the last HK24C02. Use serial port interaction to write and read out HK24C02. Verified that everything is working fine. This indicates that the EEPROM circuit design for the SOT25 package is correct. It can be used in later projects.
