Hello everyone~ I am a candidate for the 24th postgraduate examination for the new master's degree in journalism of Zhengzhou University, with a score of 430 points in the preliminary examination, ranking first in the preliminary examination major and second in the comprehensive ranking. Today, I combine some of my exam preparation experience and the experience of the students around me to bring you an experience post, which is divided into three parts of professional courses, politics, and English, hoping to provide some help for anxious younger students~
1. Study of professional courses
Zhengzhou University's new master's degree in journalism and communication is a volume, and the bibliography is the same, a total of ten books. Judging from the reference books, this amount and difficulty are very large, and it is easy for everyone to lose sight of the key points when studying at the beginning. Next, I will roughly share with you my timeline preparation plan~
(1) March to April
During this period, I was still at the beginning of preparing for the exam, so I mainly read through the ten bibliography carefully, especially the three books "Communication Course", "Introduction to Journalism" and "Introduction to Network Communication". These three books can be said to be the foundation part of the new biography, and everyone must pay attention to it when preparing for the exam, and read it carefully.
Personally, I think the most important thing for me to memorize is to memorize the new things. At this time, you may face two choices of buying materials and summarizing yourself, I bought the "full set of materials" of Senior Luo's postgraduate entrance examination, I personally think it is very comprehensive, so I will memorize it directly~ I was familiar with the textbook at the time, and I began to endorse it, and it is recommended that you can also endorse it as soon as possible.

(2) May to June
During this period, I memorized the "Complete Set of Materials" in its entirety. The first recitation was very painful, and I spent about three hours a day for about three months for almost three months. You can decide the specific time, but it is recommended to memorize it before the summer vacation. It is possible to memorize it all the day before and forget it all the next day, but don't be anxious about it, this is normal, and repetition will deepen the memory.
(3) July to August
At this time, it is the summer vacation, according to my personal experience, everyone should not relax in the summer vacation, I was suddenly enlightened during this period! After the start of school, the progress soared~
At this point, we can start the second recitation. If you memorize it carefully the previous time, you will find that the progress has been significantly accelerated this time, and the time can be reduced by almost half. During the summer vacation, my preparation for my major courses mainly focused on three aspects, one was regular memorization, one was sorting out special topics, and finally practical writing.
Organizing topics is actually for subsequent essay writing. At that time, I used the special materials sent by the previous senior sister and integrated them myself. If you are too lazy to summarize by yourself, you can also apply for the hot answer class of the seniors, as well as the practice of essay questions, saving time and effort~ I will share with you my special category:

Then there's the practical writing that everyone is worried about. There are still many types of practical questions in Zhengzhou University, and news, comments, and planning may be tested, so we all have to practice. It is recommended that you start with one article a week from the summer vacation, and several types will come in turns, and practice until before the exam. I am self-taught, because I have written press releases with my teacher for two years as an undergraduate, so I have a certain foundation. However, for students who have no experience in news writing, especially cross-examiners, it is recommended to apply for practical classes, such as Senior Luo's practical class~ or buy a few practical corrections and practice more. In short, the most important thing in practical writing is repetition and practice, and if you insist on writing it down, everyone will get about the same score in this area.
(4) September to before the exam
This stage is after the start of the summer vacation and before the exam, which belongs to the sprint stage. The memorization of the materials still has to continue, and the speed of memorization is also accelerated, about once every 20 days. This continued until the exam, and I memorized it almost seven times by the end. Personally, I'm quite satisfied with this speed, but as far as I know, there are also more than 10 times a year, in short, we have to pay attention to the review to find our own rhythm.
During this period, I had one essay question a week and one practice question a week, and I kept practicing. At the same time, I also applied for Senior Luo's mock exam class, mainly to find out where my level is. Everyone must pay attention to the mock exam, and you must simulate two or three times before the official exam, and constantly adjust your writing speed.

2. Political Studies
Politics is quite simple compared to other sections, and I do it as my most relaxed subject when preparing for the exam. When I first started preparing for the exam, I didn't start studying politics at all, and I didn't start my first political science course until July, during the summer vacation. At this time, I am mainly familiar with the general content of politics through Mr. Xu Tao's course, listen to a class, do a 1000 questions, and maintain this rhythm. This piece is still very simple, it takes about two months to finish the course and brush up on 1000 questions.
When we first start studying politics, we may not be able to remember and feel that the knowledge points are very complicated. But don't worry, everyone just reads the book step by step, and after a glance, it's okay to have a little impression. The most important thing in politics is Xiao Si Xiao Ba around November, we must pay attention to it, thoroughly understand the knowledge points in it, memorize the subjective questions proficiently, and believe that we will achieve good results. 3. English learning
My English score is 82 points, and I am personally very satisfied with this score, so I will also share my experience with you~ In fact, the learning of English is also very simple, the so-called road to simplicity, I did not buy a lot of bells and whistles in the process of preparing for the exam, only words + yellow book (reading fine translation) + composition paper. I learned the words in software, and if I'm not used to using software, I can use physical books. You can memorize the words now, set the number every day, try to memorize them before the summer vacation, and then repeat them at a faster pace until the exam.
As the saying goes, "those who have to read win the world", and there are 40 points for reading objective questions, which is quite important. And there are only a few sets of real questions, in fact, they are very precious, everyone should pay attention to each article, and they must be translated word by word. Don't be afraid of trouble, it's a long-term thing. After writing, you can buy a blank volume to review, you must persevere! I am every fine translation, and I got 46 points at the end of reading, and only two were wrong, so the importance of fine translation is obvious.
Other topics such as essays and translations can start a little later, even after the summer vacation. But also maintain a certain speed, don't get your hands dirty. I am writing and reciting one essay a week, and it may be one article in three days in the later stage, and I summarize the writing template. In short, repetition is king in English practice.
