From March 30 to March 31, the Huawei ICT Competition 2023-2024 China Finals Award Ceremony was held in Xiamen. The university is the only university in Shandong Province to be shortlisted for the global finals of the competition.
As one of the most valuable and influential university science and technology competitions, the Huawei ICT Competition is one of the most valuable and influential university science and technology competitions, and it is also a key partner flagship project of the Global Skills Academy of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Since the 8th Huawei ICT Competition began in September 2023, more than 150,000 students from more than 3,000 universities in 83 countries and regions around the world have signed up. Fu Wenjie, Feng Yangyang and Dai Xianle, students majoring in network engineering, formed a team to participate in the competition, and won the first prize in the undergraduate group of the national finals in the network track competition and advanced to the global finals by virtue of their in-depth understanding and proficient application of data communication, security, WLAN and other technologies.
