Zhao Jingzhan (pen name Wei Ke), former vice president and consultant of the Chinese Poetry Society, and a member of the editorial board of "Chinese Poetry". Born in Anping County, Hebei Province in 1947, he joined the Chinese People's Liberation Army in 1966 and is an Air Force Meritorious Pilot with the rank of colonel. After his retirement in 2002, he was employed by the Chinese Poetry Society, and successively served as the editorial director, deputy editor-in-chief and executive deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine "Chinese Poetry", and the vice president and consultant of the Chinese Poetry Society. On June 21, 2021, he died in Beijing due to illness at the age of 74.

A few days ago, I received a notice to participate in the meeting, and as soon as I heard that this big name in the poetry world and the top person could come to give a lecture for us, I couldn't sleep at night and did my homework.
