In his daily work, he has particularly high physical requirements, such as weight-bearing climbing, rope climbing, 3000-meter running, etc., which he requires firefighters to do, he himself does it first, and whenever some team members can't hold on, he always tries his best to cheer them on. And when the team members run 3,000 meters, he runs 5,000 meters...... As a front-line commander at the grassroots level, he is a veritable "training master" in the team.

At about 18 o'clock in the evening of July 11, 2018, the bridge leading to the outside world in Heishuihao Village, Jinhua Town, Shehong County, was hit and destroyed by two sand mining boats upstream, resulting in more than 350 people trapped in Heishuihao Village. "From afar, the whole village looks like an isolated island surrounded by an arrogant flood. Kuang Hengjian still remembers the scene vividly, the average depth of the houses on the island was 2 meters, and the trapped people climbed onto the roofs to wait for rescue, and the situation was very critical.
Danger is an order, time is life, Kuang Hengjian made a calm decision, actively coordinated, quickly selected the best rescue time and rescue location, led the boat, evacuated more than 100 times, fought for more than 40 hours, and successfully evacuated all the villagers on the island to a safe place.
One battle is over, and another is ready to start a new one. At 11:55 on September 1, 2018, Kuang Hengjian received a dispatch from the command center of the detachment: a liquid ammonia leakage accident occurred in a certain enterprise, please go to dispose of it immediately. After receiving the police, Kuang Hengjian and his teammates quickly rushed to the scene of the accident. At this time, the scene was already filled with the pungent smell of ammonia, and Kuang Hengjian, as the commander, quickly formulated a disposal plan and divided the personnel into three groups: the first group used spray water cannons to dilute downwind to prevent the spread of the leakage gas; the second group wore protective clothing and air breathing equipment to enter the leakage perimeter and dilute the diffuse ammonia gas with water cannons; and the third group was "fully armed" Under the cover of the water cannon and the cooperation of the company's technical personnel, the team members entered the leakage point to close the leakage valve of the leaking liquid ammonia storage tank, and the on-site fire water tanker continuously supplied water to dilute the water supply, and transferred the residual ammonia in the pipeline to other storage tanks...... In the end, Kuang Hengjian and his teammates overcame many difficulties such as high temperature and long time, and successfully dealt with the liquid ammonia leakage accident.

As a grassroots commander, Kuang Hengjian often encourages the people around him, encourages everyone to love their jobs and dedicate themselves to their jobs, and make extraordinary achievements in ordinary posts. Since serving as the head of the Jiahe Road Fire and Rescue Station, Kuang Hengjian has taken the initiative to mingle with the firefighters in life, train together, communicate together, and share worries together, which makes the role of the branch fighting fortress more prominent, the cohesion of the team is further enhanced, the daily management is more orderly, and the overall level of the team station work has been greatly improved. On June 26, 2023, Kuang Hengjian received a notice from his superiors to go to Chengdu to participate in the fire and security work of the Universiade. However, at this time, his youngest son was born less than 10 days old, his wife was in a state of physical weakness, his parents were also in their eighties, and he had a young daughter to take care of. As a fire and rescue worker, Kuang Hengjian knew that it was his duty to obey orders, so he resolutely left home with a sense of responsibility and mission and rushed to the mission site.
During the Chengdu Universiade, Kuang Hengjian led the command post to carry out 56 fire inspections, found 172 hidden dangers, supervised the rectification of 145 hidden dangers, and rectified 27 within a time limit; at the same time, a total of 31 drills were carried out for unsafe places, 21 publicity and training sessions, and more than 600 people participated. In terms of team management, he always insists on leading by example, and strictly requires the team members through conversation, late roll call, and checking shops and posts, so as to ensure that the team maintains high spirit and vigorous combat effectiveness at any time.
In his 17-year firefighting career, Kuang Hengjian wrote with loyalty, practiced his mission with action, and selflessly dedicated his youth and blood to the firefighting career he loved, but he owed too much to his family, and every time he mentioned his family, there would always be a trace of tears in his eyes. "Who doesn't miss their parents, wives and children, since they have chosen firefighting, it means dedication; every time I see the retrograde figure of my teammates and hear the praise of the successful rescue, all the hard work is so worthwhile.
