Big head, big eyes, big mouth, short body and limbs...... In the art window of No. 95 Beiyu Road, the vivid and exaggerated cloth tigers have attracted the attention of many citizens.

Looking closely, these cloth tigers have their own characteristics, some are majestic, some are vivid and cute, and some are full of childishness and innocence. The color tones are mostly red, yellow, white, and blue, with strong color contrast, and smart and lively.

The reporter learned that the cloth tiger is a kind of traditional handicrafts that have been widely circulated in Chinese folk in ancient times, which is not only a good children's toy, but also an indoor decoration, gifts and personal collections, with a wide variety and wide circulation. On June 27, 2008, Bu Laohu was approved by the State Council to be included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list. In November 2019, Bu Laohu was selected into the list of national intangible cultural heritage representative project protection units. For a long time, cloth tigers are mostly seen with double-headed tiger pillows, which is the manifestation of tiger worship customs in folk customs, which contains profound cultural connotations. The double-headed tiger pillow symbolizes that it can ward off disasters and protect the safety of the doll. The single-headed tiger and the reclining tiger are the types of totem tigers that serve as the protector of the whole family.
