The site selection and planning and design conditions of the Longda Expressway Municipal Reconstruction Project (Phase II) were studied and the basic ecological control line occupation scheme was studied

The Longda Expressway Municipal Reconstruction Project (Phase II) is located in Fenghuang Street, Guangming Street, Matian Street, Xinhu Street, Gongming Street and Yanluo Street in Bao'an District, Guangming District, with a total length of about 11 kilometers from Guangming Interchange in the south to Luotian Toll Station in the north.
According to the planning and design, the project plans to adopt the urban expressway standard, with a planned road red line width of 95-137 meters and a total land area of about 143.41 hectares. Among them, the design speed of the road in the south section of the Loucun interchange is 80 km/h, and the standard section is 8 lanes in both directions of the main road and 6 lanes in the auxiliary road, and the design speed of the road in the north section of the Loucun interchange is 100 km/h, and the standard section is 8 lanes in both directions of the main road and 4 lanes in the auxiliary road. A tunnel management room will be built in the north of Guangming Interchange, and a rainwater pumping station will be built on the west side of the Liancheng Road intersection.
Longda Expressway (S31)
Longda Expressway is an important part of Shenzhen's "eight horizontal and thirteen vertical" high-speed road network, and is also an important fast passage connecting Guangming, Songgang and Longhua and Futian, with a total length of 28.2 kilometers, connected with Dongguan-Foshan Expressway, completed and opened to traffic in October 2005.
In January 2024, the construction of Guangqiao Interchange of Longda Expressway Municipal Reconstruction Project (Phase I) will be launched, which will reduce the bypass distance by more than 4 kilometers after completion.
The promotion of the second phase will further alleviate the traffic congestion of the current Longda Expressway, strengthen the traffic service function of the Longda Expressway along the route, enhance the regional transportation links such as Guangming Science City, Yanluo International Intelligent Manufacturing Eco-City, and Songshan Lake Science City, and promote the in-depth integration of Shenzhen-Dongguan advanced manufacturing industry and the implementation of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area strategy.
