The author disagrees with both the "life gate theory" and the "dantian theory". Dantian said that it does not match the structure of the human body, and there is some truth in the life gate theory, but it can't explain the "gap". "Gaps" are cracks, cracks, very thin and very small cracks.

In Wang Zongyue's time, there was no human anatomy in China, and people did not understand the structure of human bones, so Wang Zongyue could only explain the role of the crotch according to the understanding of traditional Chinese medicine, and used the term "lumbar gap", which should be said to be accurate. Imagine that if Wang Zongyue was referring to "life gate" or "dantian", he could have used these two words directly. Because "life" and "dantian" are not only two important acupuncture points of the human body in traditional Chinese medicine, but also the most common and important practice words in Chinese martial arts, Wang Zongyue will not make up the word "waist gap" in the "Thirteen Potentials Xinggong Song" that guides people to practice Taijiquan, and it is precisely because "lifegate" and "dantian" cannot correctly express the meaning of the crotch that Wang Zongyue thought of using "waist gap" to explain, which can be described as well-intentioned! The strength of Taijiquan comes from the hip bone, and then the hip bone drives the spine. And then drive the limbs and bones to strengthen, that is, the so-called "jointly" is also!

In this sense, Tai Chi is about "muscles and bones". Using muscles and bones to exert force is what distinguishes Tai Chi from other boxing techniques. Other boxing techniques are known for their muscles, so those who practice Western boxing have developed back muscles, and those who practice taekwondo have developed leg muscles. Those who practice Tai Chi are unlikely to develop any muscles, and those who can practice muscles are not Tai Chi. Therefore, generally speaking, Tai Chi masters are the least "looking" of bodybuilding.

When we practice and teach Tai Chi, we repeatedly ask for "no force". And this "intention is not forceful" is not very easy to understand, and it also causes controversy. If we put it another way, "use bones instead of flesh", would it be more understandable? Because Tai Chi requires us to control the bones in a way that is beyond normal training. As long as we can control every bone around our body, no matter what part of our body the other person touches, we can immediately defuse and counterattack at that part, and we can achieve "hands all over the body", and the so-called "whole body is hands and hands"!

First of all, you must learn to open the crotch and open the crotch root to loosen the crotch joint. Only by slowing down can you experience the inner breath and the urging of the joints. The author practiced Chen-style Taijiquan all the way up to 25 minutes at the slowest time, and now it takes 15~20 minutes to walk all the way. If you plate so slowly, you can't experience the breath and bone movement after 7~8 minutes of practice. Through this kind of cultivation, when you are quick and fast, you can be fast, fast, and fast.

The boxing, the pan frame, the push hand, and the scattered shape are all led by the dantian, dominated by the crotch root, which drives the movement of the bones around the body. Relying on the crotch movement to transmit the strength, the appearance seems to be the hand is exerting, but in fact, the crotch is urging the hand to exert force.

For example, in the Chen-style Taijiquan "Qinglong Out of the Water" potential, the right hand arcs from the chest from top to bottom to the right front, and the actual hip rotates from the left to the right to the right, so as to send out the strength of the right hand to shake the spring.
