In order to cherish the memory of the revolutionary martyrs, vigorously carry forward the revolutionary spirit of the Chinese nation, and create a good atmosphere of "inheriting the spirit of heroes and martyrs and forging ahead in the new era", recently, the service stations of veterans in Xinbei District have successively carried out the martyrs' sacrifice and sweeping activities on the Qingming Festival.
Bull Running Town
Recently, Benniu Town carried out a Qingming Festival sacrifice and sweeping activity with the theme of "Casting Soul • 2024 • Qingming Festival Heroes", and representatives of party members, retired soldiers, the masses, teachers and students, and public security representatives participated in the activities.
People from all walks of life who participated in the memorial activities walked to the tombstones of the martyrs in turn and offered flowers to the martyrs, expressing their high respect and infinite sorrow for the martyrs. All the mourners stood in solemn gear and paid a silent tribute with great reverence to the martyrs who bravely sacrificed their lives for the cause of the liberation of the Chinese people and the cause of building the republic.
After the festival, everyone visited the "Red Memory Exhibition Hall" of Hengda Road Bridge. Zhang Liping, a member of the red propaganda team of Benniu Town, took everyone to explore the red footprints and told you in detail about the red historical story of the Hengda Luqiao Martyrs Cemetery.
Shimbashi Street
On April 1, the veterans service station of Cha'an Village, Xinqiao Street, organized nearly 30 party members, retired soldiers, young pioneers, and mass representatives in the area to participate in the Qingming Festival and sweeping activity of "Heroes Without Regrets and Patriotic Spirit Sustainability".
At 9:30 a.m., the people who participated in the memorial sweep came to the monument in an orderly manner and observed a three-minute silence for the revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their precious lives for the liberation of New Taipei here.
At the scene, the representatives of the Young Pioneers wore red scarves for Gao Linda and other four veterans to express their reverence for the veterans. Finally, the Young Pioneers preached the deeds of revolutionary martyrs on behalf of Sui Chenye.
On April 2, the Xinqiao Street Veterans Service Station carried out the theme activity of "Chasing the Distant Journey and Remembering the Martyrs".
In front of the Martyrs' Monument, they lined up solemnly, presented flowers to the revolutionary martyrs, bowed and paid silent tribute, expressing their remembrance and reverence for the revolutionary martyrs. After the ceremony, everyone visited the corridor of heroic deeds under the guidance of the docent.
Mitsui Kaido
On the afternoon of April 1, the Hehai Community Veterans Service Station of Mitsui Street organized retired soldiers and their three subordinates, volunteers and community workers to go to the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery in Changzhou City to carry out the "Soul Casting 2024 Qingming Festival Heroes" memorial sweeping activity.
At the memorial ceremony, all the personnel solemnly stood facing the monument, laid wreaths to the revolutionary martyrs, and collectively mourned in silence to express their high admiration and endless sorrow for the martyrs. After the ceremony, everyone visited the Martyrs' Memorial Hall and the Clean Government Education Hall in an orderly manner, and continued the red blood in tracing history by watching the exhibition of the life and deeds of Changzhou Sanjie.
Chunjiang Street
On April 1, the Chunjiang Street Veterans Service Station, together with the Discipline Inspection Work Committee, the Ministry of People's Armed Forces, the Customs Work Committee, retired cadres of the organs and the Weitang Primary School, went to the Weitang Revolutionary Martyrs' Tomb to carry out the Qingming Festival sacrifice and sweeping activity of "Remembering the Martyrs and Casting the Chinese Soul Together".
The martyrs' tombs are silent and solemn, and the monument stands majestically. The ceremony officially began, and all the staff stood solemnly in front of the solemn martyrs' monument and sang the "National Anthem of the People's Republic of China".
Subsequently, everyone laid wreaths to the martyrs and sorted out the couplets. All the staff bowed three times in front of the martyrs' monument and observed a minute of silence to express their remembrance and respect for the martyrs.
Weicun Street
On the afternoon of April 1, the Weicun Street Veterans Service Station, Anjia Village Veterans Service Station, and the Yangtze River Community Veterans Service Station, together with Anjia Primary School and Weicun Primary School, carried out the Qingming Festival and sweeping activities of "Remembering the Martyrs, Remembering the Mission, and Being a Good Boy in the New Era" in the Anjia Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery and the Weicun Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery respectively.
At the beginning of the event, representatives of teachers and students, representatives of retired soldiers, and representatives of martyrs' families lined up neatly to lay wreaths at the Monument to the Revolutionary Martyrs. Subsequently, the student representatives told the red story of the revolutionary martyrs, and called on us to inherit the legacy of the martyrs and be good boys in the new era with sincere words.
