After investigation, the source of the contradiction dates back to 1982. According to Yang Shicong, when the village collective allocated and contracted barren mountains to individuals, her family was assigned a 10-acre barren mountain located in Yangcaopo Bay, a reservoir group in the coastal village, and then Yang Xuanrong's parents also cultivated next to the barren mountain and continued to reclaim the barren mountain for cultivation. On March 28, the two sides had another conflict over spring ploughing and production, and the coastal village committee failed to deal with it again, after learning about the relevant situation. In the afternoon of the same day, under the chairmanship of Wang Jun, deputy secretary of the party committee and member of the political and legal committee of the blacksmith township, the township comprehensive management center jointly mediated with the police station, the judicial office, the agricultural service center, the natural resources office, the village committee and other departments.
In the process of mediation, the mediators identified the breakthrough of the contradiction, worked together, promoted the negotiation in accordance with the law, reasoned with the case, persuaded the peace with courtesy, and persuaded the two parties to settle after more than 4 hours of mediation. In order to completely resolve the conflict, the mediator organized the two parties to re-identify and mark the relevant disputed land boundaries in the disputed land, and finally the two parties voluntarily signed a mediation agreement in a harmonious atmosphere, so far, a land dispute of more than 40 years has been successfully resolved.
