On the morning of April 2, Hefeng Academy held a lecture on the theme of "Revolutionary Martyrs, Founding Pillars - Zhang Desheng". The lecture specially invited Zhang Haijun, the grandson of the revolutionary martyr Comrade Zhang Desheng, to tell the glorious course of Zhang Desheng's lifelong struggle for the Chinese revolution. All party members of the party branch of the District Institute of Culture and Finance participated in the event.
Zhang Desheng, born on October 20, 1909 in No. 3 Courtyard, Shangxiang of the Second Division of Lu, Yulin City, died in Xi'an on March 4, 1965, and was posthumously recognized as a revolutionary martyr by the Ministry of Civil Affairs in the same year. He served as the first secretary of the Gansu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the second secretary of the Northwest Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, the first secretary of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the political commissar of the Shaanxi Provincial Military Region, and the chairman of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Chairman Mao Zedong once called him "Desheng a good comrade and an honest man", and former President Yang Shangkun wrote an inscription "Learn from Comrade Zhang Desheng".
In the lecture, Zhang Haijun briefly described Comrade Zhang Desheng's revolutionary career, narrated the inheritance of Comrade Zhang Desheng's spirit through real and touching stories, and showed the quality, far-reaching wisdom and firm communist belief of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries through pictures.
Taking the traditional festival of Qingming Festival as an opportunity, this event carried out a profound revolutionary traditional education for party members and cadres, so that all the staff received a soul baptism, so that everyone strongly felt the firm belief of the revolutionary martyrs and drew patriotic strength from it.
