The first round of the playoffs will begin on April 10 and will be played in a best-of-three format. The top four teams, namely Liaoning, Xinjiang, Zhejiang, and Guangdong, will have byes in the first round of the playoffs and directly advance to the quarterfinals, and the second round (eight into four) will adopt a best-of-five system, and the second round will start on April 18. The semi-finals will still be best-of-five, with the semi-finals set to begin on May 1. The two teams that will advance to the finals will use a best-of-seven system to compete for the final championship, and the CBA finals will be played from May 15 to May 31.
