The 75th Anniversary of the People's Republic of China: National Unity
In August 1958, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) made the Resolution on the Establishment of People's Communes in the Rural Areas at the enlarged meeting of the Politburo held in Beidaihe, deciding to establish a people's commune that integrates government and society, and integrates workers, peasants, businessmen, students, and soldiers. After the meeting, there was an upsurge of the people's communization movement in the rural areas of the country.
The comic strip "Sending Horses for Ten Thousand Miles" tells the story of a Kazakh ranch located in the Ili River valley that dispatched 300 horses to support the northeast and defeated the conspiracy and sabotage during the long journey, showing the positive role of people's communization in promoting national unity.
