Recently, the two-day 2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Wushu Elite Competition was held in the Feihong Pavilion in Xiqiao, Nanhai.

The competition is jointly guided by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Wushu Cultural Exchange Center and the Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Nanhai District, Foshan City, and hosted by the Wushu Association of Nanhai District, Foshan City. More than 10 cities, 125 teams, and nearly 1,800 athletes, coaches and team leaders from more than 10 cities in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao participated in the event. The competition set up three major events: martial arts routines, fitness qigong and free fighting, and the contestants competed fiercely, and finally won the gold, silver, bronze and the top eight team scores in each individual event. Panyu District Huang Xiaoxia Boxing Martial Arts Club organized 7 team members to participate in 14 competitions, winning 5 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze.

The person in charge of the Panyu District Huang Xiaoxia Boxing Martial Arts Club said in an interview that the youngest of the seven "Xiaoxia Boys" who participated in the competition on behalf of the club was only 7 years old.
