This installation is a colorful interactive sculpture that arouses curiosity about color vision and photophysics. Using only white light (natural and artificial), combined with transparent plexiglass and only two types of dichroic films, the sculpture reflects and lets a variety of colors and shadows pass through depending on the angle at which the light hits the material.
Plexiglass is placed in a specific way, creating a room that visitors can walk through. The device is always changing, depending on what angle you look at it from. Artificial light is set up in a slow-moving loop, which, together with specially created sounds, creates a symphony of colors and reflections.
Interactivity is created by huge reflectors placed at both ends of the installation. This reflector is rotatable, with a narrow beam of light directed at it. By rotating the mirror, visitors can control the reflections and see the effect of the light changes in the sculpture.
