In order to ensure the safety and orderliness of road traffic during the Qingming Festival, the Lanzhou Public Security Traffic Police issued the 2024 Qingming Holiday Road Traffic "Two Announcements and One Reminder", taking multiple measures to ensure a safe, smooth and orderly traffic environment.
Highway access and urban road restriction policy
The 2024 Qingming Festival will be held from April 4th to 6th, with a 3-day holiday. From 0:00 on April 4 to 24:00 on April 6, the highway for small passenger cars with 7 seats and below will be free of charge.
Prediction of traffic flow during the Qingming Festival
It is expected that on March 23rd, 24th, 30th and 31st, that is, the first two weekends of the Qingming Festival, there will be a peak on the roads to the major cemetery areas in the city, and the traffic around the cemetery will soar, and some roads will be one-way traffic.
1. Tianqiao Cemetery Area, Nanshan Ancient Garden, Longfeng Garden, Evergreen Garden, Songhe Garden, Cultural Palace to Lanzhou Funeral Home Hualin Road, Gaolan County Zhonghe Town Wollongong Cemetery Area
From now until April 4, there will be a lot of traffic. The Dashaping Cemetery area implements one-way circulation from now until April 4. Grave sweeping vehicles need to drive south along Foci Avenue to the cemetery bridge and enter. The return is made by two exits on the south and north sides.
There are 2 parking lots in the Dashaping cemetery, with a total of 430 parking spaces.
2. Evergreen Park Cemetery Area
From now until April 4, one-way traffic will be implemented. The tomb sweeping vehicle drives from the west to the east of the Xinyanshi Highway to the intersection of Evergrande Cultural Tourism City, and turns left into the Changqingyuan cemetery. Return to Changqingyuan Junction, turn right to Central Park Junction, and turn around at Shichuan Tunnel.
3. Hanjiahe Cemetery Area
From now until April 4, one-way circulation will be implemented, and vehicles entering the cemetery area will go to the cemetery area along the slope of Yanjiaping through Yuanzigou. Return from the cemetery area via Country Road 278 to the intersection of National Highway 212.
There are 2 parking lots in the Hanjiaping Cemetery area, with a total of 300 parking spaces.
Fourth, Yuzhong Heping Town Wanyan Spring, Peony Garden Cemetery Area
The supporting parking lot of the cemetery cannot meet the parking needs, so it is recommended that the public can take No. 901, 902, 906 to get off at Shiyuan Station and walk to the cemetery area to pay respects.
5. Wanquan Ecological Cemetery, Lanzhou East District Muslim Cemetery, Chengguan Town Xinglongshan Village Cemetery, Heping Town Liugouhe Village Cemetery, Laizibao Township Camel Lane Village Cemetery, Heping Town Zhigoumen Village Cemetery, Baihushan Cemetery

6. Yuzhong Zhujiawan Cemetery Area and Xinglongshan Cemetery Area
It is recommended that the public can take No. 901, K901, 902 and get off at Yuzhong Bus Station, transfer to Bus No. 6 to the vicinity of the cemetery area, and walk to the cemetery area to worship and sweep. The cemetery is adjacent to the Xinglong Mountain Scenic Area, and the increase in spring outings in spring can easily lead to congestion on the roads around Xinglong Mountain.
