Penalties for the absence of CU-TR certification (EAC Certification) of the Customs Union
If the enterprise fails to carry out a quality assessment in accordance with the provisions of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union (TR CU), it faces penalties such as suspension of activity for up to 90 days, seizure of goods, fines of up to 1 million rubles, etc. Violation of the labelling procedure is also required to pay 1 million rubles. In case of violation of certain provisions of the Statute on the Death of the Customs Union (TR CU).
Process for obtaining an EAC Certificate of Conformity (CU-TR Certificate):
1. Project application - submit the application for CU-TR/EAC certification.

9. Annual Supervision and Audit (once a year)
The issuance of EAC COC Certificates by the countries of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan has the same legal effect in the markets of the 5 member states of the Eurasian Union.
EAC Authorized Representative
Foreign manufacturers can only apply for certification/declaration through companies in the territory of the Eurasian Union. This means that a company in Russia, Kazakhstan or other CU countries is responsible for the quality of the product in accordance with the local representative agreement, and the authorized representative can be the importer, distributor of the product or any local representative company located in the Technical Regulations CU
