April 4, 2024, Qingming Festival, is also the "World Stray Animal Day".
According to the "2021 China Pet Industry White Paper", the number of stray cats in mainland China in 2021 is as high as 53 million, and the number of stray dogs is as high as 40 million. Stray animals wander away, living a life of starvation every day, lonely, ignored, banished, and even trampled to death. Because there is no place to live, you are wandering everywhere you go.
When we think of stray animals, we inevitably think of two words at the first time: "meet" and "goodbye".
We would meet them late at night, on the road, at the water's edge, at the viaduct, at random locations. For some of the stray animals, this "encounter" is a "goodbye" to each other - they are forever left yesterday. Only a few lucky people have the opportunity to move forward to tomorrow because of the kindness of people.
What kind of scene have they seen in their eyes?
Do they have a desire for warmth before going to bed?
If life could be restarted,
Will they still choose to come to the world?
