The workplace transformation of post-95 female employees: from high-pressure headhunters to newcomers in state-owned enterprises!

author:Week 8 life circle

In my year as a headhunter, I have gone through the whole process from excitement and challenge to exhaustion and depression. As a post-95 female employee, I thought I could easily cope with this challenging job, but the reality was far more cruel than I imagined.

In the beginning, I was attracted to the glamour of the job. Headhunters sound like hunters in the talent market, precise and mysterious. I am passionate about this job, working with all kinds of professionals every day, finding the right jobs for them and recommending the right people for the company. I thought this was the stage where I could show my self-worth.

However, as time went on, I began to feel more stress than I had ever felt before. The high intensity of work every day gives me little time to rest. I need to constantly learn new knowledge, keep up with market trends, and deal with unexpected situations. My salary is not low, but the time and effort I need to put in is far beyond my expectations.

I began to wonder if this was really what I wanted, and I was starting to show signs of exhaustion, both physically and mentally. At this moment, by chance, I received an interview invitation from a state-owned enterprise. In my impression, state-owned enterprises are synonymous with stability and comfort. My heart began to waver, should I give up my current high salary and pursue a more balanced life?

During the interview, I found that the working environment in a state-owned enterprise was completely different from my previous company. The pace is noticeably slower, and the relationships between employees are much more harmonious. I learned that although the salary may not be as good as that of a headhunter, state-owned enterprises can provide me with more career development opportunities and learning platforms. More importantly, it gives me a breathing space and time to think about my future.

I made a decision, I chose a state-owned enterprise. When I told the owner of the headhunter about this decision, he seemed very surprised. He spent a full two hours trying to convince me to stay, promising me a raise, a promotion, and even offering to adjust my working hours to give me more time off.

However, I already have the answer in my mind. I appreciate the kindness of my boss, but I know better what I need. What I need is an environment where I can balance work and life, and I need a platform where I can continue to grow. I rejected the hard persuasion of my boss and firmly chose a state-owned enterprise.

This decision came as a shock to my former colleagues. They couldn't understand why I was willing to give up my extra 7,000 yuan a month to go to a place that seemed to pay even less. But I knew that my choice was for a longer career and personal growth.

Now, I have been working in a state-owned enterprise for a while, and I have noticed that my quality of life has improved significantly. I no longer have to work late at night every day, and I have more time to learn new skills and enjoy life. My mental state has also become fuller, and I have even started to plan my own career path.

I know that my choice may not be understandable to everyone, but I firmly believe that everyone's career path is unique. What we need is to find a path that suits us, rather than blindly pursuing money and status.
