After investigation, Wang caused a fire by burning weeds in violation of regulations in the contracted land, and according to Article 64, Item 2 of the Fire Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, the public security organ gave Wang a penalty of 12 days of administrative detention.

On March 6, 2024, a fire broke out in a greenhouse in Yintuo Village, Yiquan Town, Donggang City, Liaoning Province. After investigation, it was determined that the cause of the fire was that villager Yin Moumou ignited a fire at the fire site and spread to the northwest corner of the strawberry greenhouse, causing a fire. Yin Moumou was administratively detained for 7 days in accordance with the law.

On February 19, 2024, in Zhongshan District, Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province, Zi Moumou burned weeds and crop residues while doing farm work in the field of the seventh group of mountains in Shabachang Village, Wangjiazhai Town. Zi XX was administratively detained for 10 days in accordance with law.

Fire Protection Law of the People's Republic of China
In accordance with the provisions of Article 64, Paragraph 2 of the Fire Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, the fire caused by burning straw shall be detained for not less than 10 days but not more than 15 days for "negligence causing a fire", and a fine of not more than 500 yuan may be imposed concurrently, and if the circumstances are more minor, a warning or a fine of not more than 500 yuan shall be given.
