A few days ago, the sanitation workers of the First Environmental Sanitation and Cleaning Center of the Xiangfang District Urban Management Bureau once again came to the Harbin Martyrs Cemetery at No. 1 Tiyu Street to carry out voluntary cleaning, so that the public can pay tribute to the martyrs in a clean and tidy environment. This is the 20th consecutive year that the center has come here to carry out voluntary work during the Qingming Festival.
Harbin Martyrs Cemetery was founded in 1948, in which 247 heroes and martyrs who died in different historical periods are buried, and they have made great contributions to national independence, people's liberation, national prosperity and people's happiness. Every year during the Qingming Festival, there will be a peak of sacrifice and sweeping here.
This year, when the Qingming Festival is approaching, the party members of the First Environmental Sanitation and Cleaning Center of Xiangfang District came to the Harbin Martyrs Cemetery again to clean up the park and purify the environment. In order to allow the people to remember the ancestors in a clean environment, the sanitation workers washed the equipment with water, so that the road surface and side stones of the cemetery exposed white stubble, and they also helped the staff here to do a good job of cleaning up the residual snow, dead branches and leaves, and debris.
"As a beautician in the city, I think it is very meaningful to participate in this volunteer work. Guo Dechao, a probationary party member of the center, said. In addition to the Qingming Festival, in ordinary days, this group of sanitation workers also often come to the martyrs' cemetery to do voluntary labor. As long as the cemetery is in need, this group of sanitation workers will come to support.
