Preface
This case is located in a duplex in the New Century Garden in Pudong New Area, with 72 square meters in the first floor and 100 square meters in the second floor combined with the sun room. The owners are three generations in the same household, and in order to meet the needs of different people, we have adopted many clever designs to meet the diverse needs of the home.
The first floor is mainly the living room, dining room, kitchen common area + parents' room, and a floor-to-ceiling balcony with super lighting. The parents' room and the balcony are combined to expand the parents' activity space, and the design of the bathroom is based on the humanized perspective, which is considerate and thoughtful for the elderly.
On the second floor, there are two multi-functional rooms, multi-functional audio-visual hall + multi-functional sunshine room to meet the diversified needs of the owners. The overall use of French romantic elegance, with antique second-hand furniture, under the soft cream color, combined with delicate French metal elements embellishment, to create a unique and charming romantic atmosphere, perfect display of the charm of French second-hand mixing, quite a romantic life field with the charm of time.

The restaurant has a round table layout, which creates a sense of ritual for the moment of homecoming, and at the same time, the warm atmosphere of family reunion is rendered. The pendant round light at the top creates a captivating light and shadow effect that complements the dining table. The sideboard against the wall provides more convenient storage space.
The upper and lower cabinets of the sideboard are customized, and the hollow design in the middle is not only transparent and beautiful, but also can be placed casually with small electrical appliances to add convenience to life. The small metal doorknob design is fashionable and delicate, full of texture, and adds the finishing touch to the space.

The kitchen adopts an open four-linkage sliding door, which combines closed and open, and the space is flexibly arranged. In order to provide better stability, especially for the elderly, the design of the bottom hidden track was chosen, which also played a good role in anti-slip. The U-shaped layout of the kitchen, the white and wood color separation design of the cabinet, adds a retro charm to the kitchen. Built-in electrical cabinets, dishwasher and oven are built into the bottom, and the refrigerator is located on one side of the kitchen.

Living room
The background wall of the living room uses plaster lines to create a unique French shape, combining metal elements and second-hand furniture to add a unique taste. In order to take full advantage of the balcony's natural light, we chose folding doors to separate the balcony from the living room. Especially in the summer, when the sun is strong, if you turn on the air conditioner and do not make a partition, the electricity bill will definitely soar. As a result, our folding doors are not only aesthetically pleasing but also energy-efficient.
The whole house is decorated with elegant cream background, warm and healing, with delicate plaster line decoration, showing French romance and elegance. The creamy three-seater sofa, carefully selected coffee table, TV cabinet, decorative cabinet and hanging paintings are all integrated with the elements of the second-hand, the antique charm collides with the French romance, bringing a unique visual experience, and every 1 square meter is a healing!
The folding doors of the balcony lattice, the romantic and charming window screens, and the leisure chairs, the retro atmosphere that naturally flows out of the overall space inadvertently seems to be able to turn back time.

bedchamber
The master bedroom on the second floor continues the milky white French romantic style as a whole, and the graceful lines outlined by the PU lines of the bedside background wall at the bedside are three-dimensional and beautiful. A casual single sofa on one side of the bed and a TV at the foot of the bed create the perfect stage for couples to share a warm time. On the other side of the bed, a row of oversized wardrobes is cleverly integrated, which not only increases the storage capacity of the master bedroom, but also cleverly designs a central air conditioner at the top of the wardrobe, adding comfort and convenience to the whole space.
The bedroom on the first floor is used by the parents, considering that it is inconvenient to go up and down the stairs due to the age. The original balcony and the parents' room are opened up to make the whole space more spacious. By adding sliding door partitions, it is convenient for the elderly to wash clothes and dry, which improves the living comfort. The floors are made of wood, which echoes the overall romantic pastel tones, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

Welcome to the audio-visual multi-function hall on the 2nd floor (audio-visual + leisure + temporary rooms), which usually provides private entertainment space for owners and children, using a front wall for projection, the wall is selected with Jotun's paint, and the choice of matte surface not only makes the projection picture clearer, but also provides the best visual enjoyment.
Against the wall, we custom-made a row of water bars, and a small box is embedded under the water bar, and from the bottom you can see an outlet for its heat dissipation.
Above the staircase is a small original slope attic, which is now mainly used as a storage space, playing the role of connecting the upper and lower parts of the whole hall and extending the space.
The water bar extends to the corner, which was originally used to put the owner's workbench, but he doesn't work here now, so we first picked a finished sideboard, with vases as embellishments, window blinds, and very charming and beautiful light and shadow effects.

Multi-purpose room
This is a rebuilt multi-functional sun room, where the owners usually relax, drink tea, and play mahjong. When the owner first contacted us, it was because the sun room was leaking and the old man had fallen, so they considered renovating the whole house. The door of the sun room is made of glass to make the lighting better. There was originally a wall behind the sofa, and it was removed and made into a decorative storage, which is beautiful and practical. The sofa is equipped with a pull-out sofa bed for relaxation and entertainment, and can also be used as a temporary room.
A mahjong table is placed in the small storage room hidden on the left side of the sofa, where the owner occasionally gathers with family or friends to play mahjong for entertainment. The ground is made of imitation wood bricks, which is both beautiful and waterproof. Central air conditioning is reserved at the top of the bookshelf to provide a comfortable environment. This sunroom is not only practical but also very comfortable, and the owners love to relax here.
The entrance door against the wall is a row of housekeeping cabinets, combined with the operating table, and there is also a small sink on it, which is convenient for drinking tea and cleaning.

The bathroom on the first floor has been designed with the needs of the elderly in mind. Because parents may need to use wheelchairs as they get older, we have designed the shower door to be wider to make it easier for them to get in and out. In addition, we have added handrails, benches and non-slip slippers to the shower area to provide convenience and safety for the elderly. It also reflects the owner's intimate care for the elderly. Choose a mirror cabinet for mirrors, which can store your usual toiletries and keep the outside clean. The light strips are hidden up and down to create a sense of atmosphere at a different level.

Stair aisle
Wooden handrails combined with black wrought iron guardrails, with their unique elegant lines and sturdy structure, provide a high-end aesthetic connection to the home, and provide safety and comfort.
On the second floor, the multi-functional audio-visual hall and the sunroom aisle adopt arched door openings, which play a good transitional role, extend the visual sense and increase the artistic atmosphere. The delicate chandelier on the side of the staircase creates an elegant and romantic atmosphere and makes the space more flexible.
When you enter the hallway of the conservatory, you will see that one end of the aisle is also designed with an arched shape. It blends neatly with the end-view decorative cabinet, which is topped with flowers and greenery to enhance the overall atmosphere. The walls of the aisles are beautifully decorated with paintings, creating a literary atmosphere.
At the other end of the extended aisle, we made a cloakroom space, and we used a more advanced invisible translational folding door for the cabinet door, which can be pulled out and placed on the side of the door, which is also more space-saving. A full-length mirror with artistic taste is placed outside the cloakroom, which is not only convenient for tidying up, but also increases the sense of space!
