When the corresponding train number or seat generates tickets available for sale due to refund, change and other services, the system will automatically redeem the ticket and notify the passenger of the ticket purchase result.

02Why don't you use "ticket grabbing software"?
Railway 12306 website (including the client) is the only official train ticket online ticketing platform of China Railway, and has never authorized any third-party platform to sell train tickets.
Passengers who purchase tickets through third-party platforms will not only encounter "traps" such as surcharges and bundled sales of services, but also may have the risk of personal privacy information leakage. In addition, passengers are requested to confirm that the payee of the ticket is "China Railway Network Co., Ltd.", so as to avoid not receiving the refund due when refunding or changing the ticket in the future.

When the tickets for a certain train are sold out, 12306 will show that there is no ticket for the train, but when it is displayed on the "ticket grabbing software" platform, it will be changed to "with a ticket", which is essentially for passengers to "buy a long time by a short time" and "buy a short time by a long time".
03 "Buying short and long" may endanger driving safety!
"Buying a short ride and a long train" refers to the behavior of passengers who buy a short-distance ticket to board the train, and continue to take the train without getting off the train after arriving at the station marked on the ticket. For example, passengers who choose the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed rail to travel have purchased tickets from Guangzhou South to Changsha South, but they have to get off at Zhengzhou East. When this behavior is serious, it may endanger driving safety!
In order to ensure the safe operation of trains, railway vehicles have certain capacity restrictions. If everyone believes in the so-called "ticket-grabbing software" to "buy long and short", the railway 12306 system will default to the large demand for long-distance passengers, so as to maintain or reduce the existing short-distance ticket amount, then more people will face the dilemma of not being able to buy tickets.
05What should I do if I can't buy a direct ticket?
If you can't buy a direct ticket during peak passenger flow, passengers can use the transfer method to meet their travel needs. In order to facilitate the transfer of passengers, the railway department has set up convenient channels for transfer in 100 major stations, and arranged station staff to do a good job of guiding services, so that passengers can enter the waiting room without leaving the station to wait for the train, which effectively shortens the transfer time.
